How To Get To Heaven From Belfast Released today

We are thrilled to celebrate the global release of How To Get To Heaven From Belfast on Netflix. This highly anticipated eight‑episode comedy‑thriller is the latest creation from Lisa McGee, the award-winning writer behind the smash hit comedy, Derry Girls. 

Set across Northern Ireland and beyond, the series blends mystery, humour and heart as it follows three lifelong friends who find themselves pulled into an unexpected, darkly comic odyssey following the death of the fourth member of their childhood gang.

McGee is creator, writer & executive producer on the series and has described the show as “a mash‑up of my two favourite genres, mystery and comedy… an Irish odyssey full of twists, turns, and arguments about eyelash extensions.”

The series stars Caoilfhionn Dunne as Dara and Natasha O’Keefe as Greta. Michael Lennox is lead director on the series and an executive producer. Tobias Beer has written episode four and Bronagh Taggart has written episode five.
