New BBC One Drama: Dark Money

DARK MONEY airs on 8th July at 9pm on BBC 1.

This powerful and complex four-part drama follows the fortunes of an ordinary London family experiencing extraordinary challenges, when they are faced with an impossible decision which will change their lives forever. It’s directed by Lewis Arnold, produced by Erika Hossington, with acting talent from Gabrielle Glaister and Gina Bramhill, production designer Beck Rainford, and acting coach Benjamin Perkins.

“Complex and gripping […] Compellingly takes a modern issue and imbues it with an almost mythic drama.”

4* Jimi Famurewa, BAFTA

Dark Money is no ordinary show […] this gripping story feels torn from the headlines, while also working as a thoroughly authentic portrayal of a family in crisis. With pitch-perfect performances, especially from Babou Ceesay and Jill Halfpenny as the parents, you won’t want to miss it.”

5*, Heat
