We are delighted to announce Alan Bennett’s iconic Talking Heads is back! The series will begin on BBC One from 9pm on Tuesday 23rd June.

Sir Alan (A P) Herbert was born in September 1890. He joined the staff of Punch in 1924 and wrote for the paper for sixty years. He wrote articles, books, plays and musicals, poetry and polemics, and still he found time for a multitude of other occupations – a fighter and reformer in the House
