Steiner and Casey longlisted for Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year

Jane Casey and Susie Steiner have been longlisted for the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year award 2021, the UK’s most prestigious prize for crime fiction, awarded to the best crime novel published in paperback in the previous year. The Theakston’s Old Peculier Award is voted for by the public and presented each year at the Harrogate Crime Writing Festival.

Jane Casey is longlisted for her book THE CUTTING PLACE, the latest in her Sunday Times bestselling Maeve Kerrigan series. Susie Steiner is longlisted for REMAIN SILENT, the third in her Richard and Judy bestselling Manon Bradshaw series. Other authors on the longlist include Steve Cavanagh, Val McDermid, Elly Griffiths, and Rosamund Lupton.
