Tim is a writer, performer and director. 

He is currently under commission to National Theatre Connections. 

Other current projects include TOTAL IMMEDIATE COLLECTIVE IMMINENT TERRESTRIAL SALVATION for the National Theatre of Scotland and Royal Court Theatre.  He still performs his solo pieces I, MALVOLIO and I, PEASEBLOSSOM, as well as his commission for the Almeida Festival (written and performed with Andy Smith) - WHAT HAPPENS TO THE HOPE AT THE END OF THE EVENING.

Tim's screen debut, the TV series DON'T FORGET THE DRIVER premiered on BBC 2 in spring 2019 to critical and audience acclaim. Tim is the creator of the series and co-wrote every episode with Toby Jones, who also stars as the titular driver. 

In 2019 Tim's play BEGINNERS won the Writers' Guild of Great Britain Award for Best Play for Young Audiences. 

I, CINNA (THE POET) which Tim wrote and directed as part of the RSC's World Shakespeare Festival, will return to London in 2019.
