Julia is a novelist for teenagers and young adults. She writes realistic, contemporary stories “about love, birth, death, loss and hope: the really important things in life”. She also writes shorter stories for younger children.

Gerry is an illustrator and printmaker with a special interest in natural history. He was born and raised in Glasgow where he studied Illustration at Glasgow School of Art, and then Natural History Illustration at the Royal College of Art.

Patrick Marber
Patrick Marber was born in London in 1964. He is an award-winning playwright, screenwriter and director. His work has won Evening Standard, Olivier, Time Out, New York and London Critics’ Circle and Writers’ Guild Awards and received BAFTA, British Comedy and Royal Television Society Awards.

Lucy Holme
Originally from Kent, Lucy Holme has lived in Cork, Ireland for well over a decade.
