Born in Leicester, Claire Gayle is an English graduate, former Adult Education teacher and mother of two. She lives in Birmingham with her husband, the author Mike Gayle, with whom she co-wrote her debut novel, NOT QUITE MYSELF, which was sold at auction to HQ.
Vicky Bennison is creator of the hugely popular YouTube channel, Pasta Grannies. Her book, the result of the channel going viral, won a James Beard award in 2020.
