Sarah Walker was a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit in 2014 and was chosen for BAFTA Elevate in 2017. She is a writer/director currently developing two feature films (NEW YEAR’S KISS and BEAUTIFUL MONSTER), two TV shows (SUMMER BLUES and YOUNGBLOOD), and a web series aimed at championing marginalised voices (CREEPERS) through her production company Underdog Productions which is dedicated to telling stories with female leads.
Her directing credits include numerous high profile TV shows and features, having impressed on the first series she recently kicked off the second series of WARRIOR NUN (Reality Distortion Field/Netflix), A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES (Sky One/Bad Wolf) and I AM ELIZABETH SMART (Lifetime USA), which was nominated for Best TV Movie and Best Actress by The Critic’s Choice Awards 2018. Her previous credits include DATES (Channel 4), WOLFBLOOD and THE CRASH (BBC), which was nominated for Best TV Drama by BAFTA 2013.
Sarah began her career as an independent filmmaker, she was showrunner on BBC teen drama THE CUT and nominated three years in a row by Broadcast Magazine in the Best Young Writer and Best Young Director categories respectively for her short films 420 SECONDS OF LOVE (2002), ALMOST STRANGERS (2003) and SOUL BOY (2004).
She is also represented in the US by Lauren Fox, Olivia Blaustein and Paige Holzman at CAA in the US.
