Sarah is currently Artistic Director at The Dukes Lancaster (www.dukes-lancaster.org).  She trained at Cambridge University, the Royal Scottish Conservatoire, on the Regional Theatres Young Directors Scheme (West Yorkshire Playhouse 2003-2005) and on the BBC Drama Directors Academy (2006).

Her adaptation of Agatha Christie'sThe Secret Adversary toured nationally in 2015, and was remounted last year at the Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch, under its new title, Partners in Crime.  Partners in Crime was nominated for 2016 Offie Awards for Best Director, Best Design and Best Lighting Design, whilst her production of The Box of Photographs at the Polka Theatre was nominated for Best Production for Young People.  

She is a selector for the National Student Drama Festival and trustee of New Writing North.  She was a Clore Leadership Fellow 2010/11, mentored by Sir Richard Eyre.
