Danny James King

Danny James King is a London-based writer, working across fiction, theatre, film and television. His debut play BOUNTY was runner up for the Alfred Fagon Award and a film adaptation is currently in the works with Joi Productions. His latest play, MISS MYRTLE'S GARDEN, premiered in 2025 at the Bush Theatre, directed by artistic director Taio Lawson as part of previous artistic director Lynette Linton's final season. The Stage described the play as 'a thing of blistering beauty' while the Guardian wrote 'King has a gift for writing rich comedy.'

Amal Abdi

Amal Abdi is a West London-based writer for stage and screen, drawn to bold, genre-blending storytelling. Her work leans into the absurd to reveal deeper emotional and social truths.

Her first full-length play, Desperate Times (2023), produced by Side eYe Productions, had four sold-out London runs at venues including Rich Mix and the Pleasance Theatre, and went on a sold-out UK tour in 2024. Amal’s theatre debut came at 19, when her monologue ‘Hijabi Spiderman’ was selected for Bush Theatre’s Hijabi Monologues (2017).

Ben Lankester is a multi-award-winning writer and director who has spent the last decade working within film, commercials, music and television.

Tracey Larcombe

Tracey Larcombe is a highly skilled director with over 15 years of experience, working in the drama, comedy, and documentary space.

Bryher Flanders

Bryher is a London-based writer, originally from Cornwall. Drawing from her experience as a queer woman, she loves to tell character-driven stories, with a comedic edge.

Bryher has been selected for talent schemes such as the New Writers Collective, a scheme run by The TV Foundation in partnership with All3Media, Aluna Labs and the inaugural Channel 4 TV Drama New Writers Scheme (West & South West) as well as being a BAFTA Connect member.
