Sophie O'Neill Q&A with Fashion & Cinema
Following the release of Hot Milk in UK cinemas, our brilliant Costume Designer, Sophie O’Neill, had an exclusive Q&A with Fashion & Cinema at the Regent Street Cinema last Monday. In this she broke down her reasoning for the colour palettes, shapes and references used in the film.
The plot follows Sophie, a PhD student who drops out to take full time care of her sick mother, who, due to a mysterious illness cannot walk. They journey to the coast of Spain to try find a cure with the elusive Dr Gomez (Vincent Perez). In the meantime, Sophie meets Ingrid (Vicky Krieps), the carefree horseback travelling love interest that complicates her new life in Almeria. This struggle to balance love and duty is thrown into a blender when Sophie ends up searching for answers on her long-lost father.
We are also proud to represent, Ita O’Brien as Intimacy Co-Ordinator, and Si Bell BSC who had completed some additional photography.
