The Squid are a comedy trio made up of writers and performers Liam Shaw, Zoe Freeman and Jack Holding.
They began posting their comedy sketches on social media in February 2023, and have since gained over 350,000 followers and 150 million views across their platforms.
Each skit is a unique and original concept, with their comedy style ranging from relatable and observational to whimsical and satirical. Their work has been heard on BBC Radio 4 and Absolute Radio, and the group have partnered with ITV, BBC as well as a number of household brands to create engaging promotional content.
As writers, they created, wrote and starred in the BBC Radio 4 pilot, ‘The Squid: Sketch a Minute’ and wrote and performed for Radio 4 show, ‘POV’.
