Remi Adefarasin OBE BSC awarded BSC Lifetime Achievement Award

We are delighted to congratulate Remi Adefarasin OBE BSC on his BSC Lifetime Achievement Award, which was presented at the 2026 BSC Awards ceremony on Saturday. 

Remi’s career has seen him shoot a multitude of films, from BAND OF BROTHERS to THE LAST VERMEER.  He was awarded the BAFTA for Best Cinematography and the BSC Cinematography in a Feature Film Award in 1998 for ELIZABETH, as well as receiving an Oscar nomination.  He has since been nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards for THE PACIFIC and BAND OF BROTHERS and was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2012.  Remi’s most recent work saw him shoot all episodes of MR LOVERMAN for the BBC and the Netflix feature MY OXFORD YEAR.
