Nina Raine's STORIES opens at the National Theatre

Last night saw the opening of Stories at the National’s Dorfman Theatre. Written and directed by Nina Raine, the play marks Nina’s first new work since the critically acclaimed Consent, which also premiered at the Dorfman in 2017.

Stories follows the life of single 39-year-old, Anna on her quest to become a mother. Increasingly desperate, Anna journeys from scouring the internet for online sperm donors to interviewing her own male friends. Will any of them be suitable and willing to father a child? In its examination of the impact of childlessness on a woman’s life, “the play combines a topical immediacy with an ethical intelligence” – The Guardian.

Stories is playing at the National Theatre until 28th November. You can buy tickets here: https://www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/shows/stories/whats-on
