MOTHERING SUNDAY by Graham Swift to be adapted for a film starring Olivia Coleman and written by Alice Birch

We are hugely excited by the recent announcement for the forthcoming film adaptation of Graham Swift’s novel MOTHERING SUNDAY starring Olivia Coleman and written by Alice Birch.

The story starts on Mothering Sunday, 1924. How will Jane Fairchild (Odessa Young), orphan and housemaid, occupy her time when she has no mother to visit? How, shaped by the events of this never to be forgotten day, will her future unfold?

Production will begin this Autumn with Colin Firth set to star alongside Olivia Coleman, Elizabeth Karlsen and Stephen Woolley to produce, and Eva Husson to direct.
