Keith Miles has been a full-time freelance writer for thirty years. He has written over forty original plays for radio, television and the theatre; and he has contributed over six hundred episodes of radio and television drama serials. He has also adapted many novels into plays; and novelised films and TV drama series.
His published work includes plays, novels, literary criticism, biography, non-fiction and children's books. His work has been translated into many languages.
He has also taught drama at a maximum security prison, run his own fringe theatre company and worked as a story editor for a film company at Pinewood.
A history graduate from Oxford, he lectured on the subject before becoming a full-time writer in 1966. He created the top-rated British TV drama series CRIMEBUSTER and contributed episodes to a number of other TV series such as Z CARS, THE ADVENTURES OF DON QUICK, SPACE 1999 and BRIGHT'S BOFFINS.
