Deborah is a theatre director and playwright. Her most recent play RAYA, will be at Hampstead Theatre in January 2021 directed by Roxanna Silbert.
Deborah was Clean Break's Writer in Residence between 2016-18 and her play DIXON AND DAUGHTERS will be produced next year directed by Roisin McBrinn.
Theatre work includes OUR FATHER (Rada); THE HOUSE THEY GREW UP IN (Headlong/Chichester Festival Theatre); THE DISTANCE (Orange Tree/Sheffield Theatres/Melbourne Theatre Company); JOANNE (Soho Theatre/Clean Break); SAME (National Theatre – NT Theatre Connections Festival) and GODCHILD (Hampstead Downstairs).
Most recent work as director includes PRIDE AND PREDJUDICE (Regent’s Park).
