After initially studying Psychology and Anthropology, followed by an MSc in Medical Anthropology, Audrey then went on to complete a three-year director's training with Sam Kogan in London and Moscow, and further directing programmes at the Young Vic, as Trainee Resident Director at the King’s Head, and through invited workshops at the National Theatre Studio, the RSC and with Peter Brook.

Audrey is on the readers’ panel at the National Theatre, and she regularly facilitates Chat Back sessions for the directors’ network at the Young Vic.

Audrey recently directed We Too Are Angels by Chinonyerem Odimba, commissioned by Kiln Theatre as part of Mapping Brent 2017.

And her latest production, The Dark Room, by multi-award-winning Australian playwright, Angela Betzien, at Theatre503, earned her a nomination as Best Director Finalist in the Off West End 'Offie' Awards 2018.

Audrey has just finished working as one of the Associate Directors for this year’s NT Connections Festival 2018 at the National Theatre, and is happy to be back in the Dorfman Theatre again - directing readings of two new plays for NT New Views 2018.

Associate/Staff Director work has included productions with Patrick Marber, Ian Rickson, Rupert Goold, Carrie Cracknell, Nick Hytner, Clare Lizzimore, Terry Johnson, Mark Ravenhill and Elizabeth LeCompte, at the Old Vic, National Theatre, RSC, Hampstead Theatre and in the West End.

Next, she will be Associate Director on the Pinter At The Pinter season in the West End this Autumn/Winter, and will be directing Alexi Kaye Campbell’s Apologia for The English Theatre Frankfurt in Spring 2019.
