Will Tuckett’s work as a Director and Choreographer includes the Olivier Award-winning The Wind in the Willows (the first Royal Opera House show to have a West End transfer), ‘Diana and Actaeon’ (Metamorphosis: Titian 2012), The Seven Deadly Sins, The Soldier’s Tale, Pinocchio, Sondheim’s Into the Woods, Faeries, The Thief of Baghdad and Pleasure’s Progress all for The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera House.

As a choreographer his work includes Pinocchio for The National Ballet of Canada and Texas Ballet Theatre. The Canterville Ghost for English National Ballet. The Secret Garden, Changing Light, Lux Aeterna and Schulwerk for Sarasota Ballet. Then and Now, Dépouillement and Orpheus for Ballet Black and many other works for companies both in the UK and internationally.

He has worked as Movement Director for various theatre and opera productions including work for The Royal Opera, Opera North, The Bregenz Festival, Grange Park Opera, The RSC, Shakespeare’s Globe and The Almeida Theatre.

He has worked on several feature films as choreographer including Streetdance 3D and Muse with the actor Geza Rohrig, as co-director and choreographer with The Quay Brothers on The Sandman and Fur Alina and as choreographer on the multi award winning NELA directed by Andy Margetson.

He has directed theatre and opera including Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel (Iford Opera) and Italiana in Algeri (Garsington Opera), Tom Stoppard’s Every Good Boy Deserves Favour and Peter Shaffer’s Royal Hunt For The Sun for Parco Theatre in Tokyo, The Crane Maiden for Kanegawa Arts Theatre in Yokohama, and the premiere of Moira Buffini’s Marianne Dreams at the Almeida Theatre.
 

Will is also working for various large organisations as an arts consultant both in the UK and internationally.
