Viveik Kalra

Viveik Kalra first broke out as the lead in BLINDED BY THE LIGHT, directed by Gurinder Chadha, which premiered to acclaim at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and went on to secure New Line/Warner as its worldwide distributor. That film, based on the memoir Greetings from Bury Park, casts Viveik as Javed, a British Pakistani teenager in 1987 Luton whose life is transformed by Bruce Springsteen’s music.

In 2024, he appeared in LIFT, a Netflix heist-action film starring Kevin Hart, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sam Worthington and others. His other credits include VOYAGERS (2021), THREE MONTHS (2022), and in television has appeared in BBC’s NEXT OF KIN and the ITV miniseries BEECHAM HOUSE.

Looking ahead, Viveik will next be seen in MONITOR, a new film from Temple Hill starring Brittany O’Grady.
