Tom is a new writer who is developing various original projects. His first script, THE BROTHERHOOD, won the BBC award in the Triforce Network’s inaugural WriterSlam competition, a scheme designed to discover new writing talent, and the same piece came second out of 400 entries in the Screenwriting Goldmine Awards, a writing contest judged by a range of producers, script editors and agents from across the industry. He has also written for CASUALTY.

Tom is currently developing his original series THE RISE with Big Light Productions.

As an actor, Tom’s career began in theatre, his first job after leaving LAMDA being at the National Theatre, before going on to work with companies like the RSC, Almeida, Royal Court, Donmar Warehouse and the Globe, as well as in the West End. More recently, his focus has been on screen work, including lead roles in the Emmy award winning BBC/Starz production of THE WHITE QUEEN, the Emmy-winning series HATFIELDS AND MCCOYS (alongside Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton), and most recently Peter Kosminsky’s THE UNDECLARED WAR for Channel 4, THE SUSPECT for ITV, BLACK CAKE for Hulu, and Netflix’s forthcoming major new series SENNA.
