Ruth Guilding

Ruth Guilding is an art and design historian whose reviews and critical writing have appeared in The Spectator, TLS, The Art Newspaper, FTWeekend, Apollo Magazine and many other publications. After working in in the heritage sector as country house curator, historian, researcher and exhibitions curator she became a freelance writer, publishing with Yale and Rizzoli. Latterly she founded the interiors blog, The Bible of British Taste -  now an instagram account and paper magazine of the same name -  and in autumn 2025 a book: The Bible of BritishTaste, Stories of Home, People and Place, published by Frances Lincoln.
