I admire authors who take risks, write with a sense of urgency, and aren't afraid to be a little bit different. 

Here’s what I think publishers will be looking for in coming months:

• Crime fiction with offbeat characters and original hooks
• Dark, modern, subversive horror fiction
• Experimental literary fiction that brims with emotion
• Genre-bending fantasy and speculative fiction 

If your work doesn’t fit neatly into these boxes, send it anyway. I welcome submissions with an open mind and enjoy editorial development.

I joined United Agents in 2020 with previous experience at Janklow & Nesbit and 'A' Literary Agency in Tibilisi. Prior to this, I was an English teacher in Preston, studied English and Philosophy in Edinburgh and grew up in Bristol. I now work closely with Zoe Ross and Robert Kirby, whilst actively growing my own list of authors across adult fiction and non-fiction.
