Gareth is best known to television audiences as series regular Todd Grimshaw in ITV’s long‑running soap Coronation Street.
A fluent bilingual actor, Gareth works extensively across both Welsh and English productions. His English-language screen credits include Lenny Mack in Ruth Jones' Stella for Sky One, Alun Pryce in Hinterland and Karl in Ordinary Lies for BBC. His Welsh television work includes Osian James in 5 series of Fiction Factory's Caerdydd, Nicky in Y Pris, Reg in 35 Diwrnod, and Touchpaper’s Cara Fi, in which he played local GP Brian Phelps.
Gareth’s feature film credits include Pink Wall (dir. Tom Cullen), in which he played Pat, and Netflix’s Apostle, portraying Jack Tobias under the direction of Gareth Evans.
Gareth has also worked extensively in theatre, including Henry VI Trilogy (Shakespeare's Globe), the award-winning premiere of Parallel Lines (Dirty Protest), Jim Cartwright's A Christmas Fair (Milton Rooms), and numerous productions at Sherman Theatre, Torch Theatre and Ludlow Festival.
A keen ear for accents makes Gareth an accomplished voice actor, appearing in countless Afternoon Plays and live comedy recordings for BBC Radio 4, and widely recognised for his role as Gavin Moss in The Archers.
