Tom Velterop

Tom Velterop grew up getting lost in the Ashdown Forest. When he was nine, his parents told him that he wasn’t allowed to watch The Lord of the Rings films until he’d read the books. So he did. He’s spent his life getting still more lost in fantastical (and arguably preferable) worlds ever since. Between writing, reading and rock climbing, Tom has seen a bit of the real world from the saddle of a bicycle, alongside his much braver and more adventurous girlfriend. She’s now trying to drag him away from his books to see a bit more.
