Brian Coffey

Brian Coffey is a Scottish-based producer across film and television.

Brian is currently in Post on the Second Series of RTS and BAFTA Award-Winning BBC and Hulu hit comedy, DINOSAUR

He recently Produced the upcoming TV Series COLDWATER starring Andrew Lincoln, Ewen Bremner, Indira Varma and Eve Myles written by David Ireland, the 6 x 60 Thriller was for Sister Pictures for ITV and launches on September 14th 2025 on ITV1.

In 2023 he Produced Season 1 of the TV Series DINOSAUR for Two Brothers Pictures for BBC and Hulu. The Series was launched on Hulu on April 5th 2024 and was broadcast across BBC Scotland, BBC Three and BBC One in April 2024, and all Episodes are available on the BBC iPlayer.

In 2022 Coffey saw Sky Original film DEAD SHOT into production, starring Colin Morgan, Aml Ameen, Sophia Brown, Felicity Jones, and Mark Strong. Coffey also produced Michael Caton-Jones' feature OUR LADIES. Financed by Sony Pictures International and Screen Scotland, it premiered at London Film Festival in 2019 before beginning its theatrical release in late 2020. Coffey produced Ninian Doff's debut feature GET DUKED! with fellow producers Matthew Plouffe, Tobey Maguire, and Laura Tunstall. The film world premiered at SXSW 2019, winning the Audience Award - Midnight Section. Its European premiere was the Opening Gala of Edinburgh International Film Festival 2019. Amazon Studios released the film worldwide on Amazon Prime

Coffey’s previous producing credits include MALEVOLENT (dir. Olaf De Fleur), THE LEGEND OF BARNEY THOMSON (dir. Robert Carlyle), SWUNG (dir. Colin Kennedy) and CITADEL (dir. Ciarán Foy). Coffey also served as a co-producer on David Mackenzie’s OUTLAW KING and STARRED UP alongside producer Gillian Berrie.
