We are excited for the extremely talented Stephen Warbeck’s directorial debut, THE MAN IN THE HAT.
Described by Institut Français as ‘an astonishing feat of contemporary film-making’, the feature will premiere at Ciné Lumière on 18th September, with several screenings to follow. Stephen not only co-writes and directs alongside John-Paul Davidson, but also takes his usual helm as composer in this silent comedy, starring Ciarán Hinds and Stephen Dillane.
While journeying through France in a Fiat 500, accompanied by the framed photograph of an unknown woman, the man in the hat is relentlessly pursued by five angry men in a Citroen Dyane. Who is he? Why are they chasing him? And how can he lose them?
