United Agents clients are represented across a number of projects selected for the 2026 Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF), which returns from 13–19 August with a programme featuring 38 new feature films, including 21 world premieres.
Clients feature in both the Sean Connery Prize for Feature Filmmaking Excellence competition and the festival’s out-of-competition strand, highlighting talent across writing, acting, editing, production design, costume, and hair and make-up.
Sean Connery Prize for Feature Filmmaking Excellence
Mission
Directed by Paul Wright and selected for the festival’s flagship competition strand, Mission features:
- Kat Morgan – Hair & Make-Up Designer
- Kirsty Halliday – Costume Designer
The film stars George MacKay and Rosy McEwen and is among the titles competing for the Sean Connery Prize.
Skintown
Also selected for the competition is Skintown, which is:
- Written by Ciaran McMenamin
The film is one of ten world premieres competing in the Sean Connery Prize section.
Out of Competition
The Incomer
The festival’s opening film, The Incomer, features:

- Vanessa Coffey – Intimacy Coordinator
The debut feature from Louis Paxton opens this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival.
Extra Geography
Selected for the festival’s out-of-competition programme, Extra Geography features several United Agents clients:
