Biography
Vanessa is one of the UK’s leading Intimacy Coordinators. She is a BECTU Level 2 Registry Intimacy Coordinator and is one of only 9 SAG-AFTRA registered ICs from the UK.
Vanessa has trained and worked professionally as an actor, dancer and movement director. Prior to this training, she worked as a corporate lawyer. This experience offers a unique set of skills which enables her to negotiate sympathetically between actors, directors, casting directors and crew. Her training allows her to craft complex scenes to achieve the desired outcome, while keeping performers safe – her main goal and purpose as an Intimacy Coordinator.
Vanessa was one of three Intimacy Coordinators who advised on and contributed to the Directors UK guide: Directing Nudity & Simulated Sex – Creating a Safe Environment for Daring Work.
