Her hit musical Babies, written with award-winning composer & lyricist Jack Godfrey, was nominated for Best New Musical at the 2025 WhatsOnStage awards.

Specialising in new work, comedy and musicals, Martha is currently involved in the creation of multiple new shows at varying stages of development.
Her work in commercial theatre includes productions with Sonia Friedman, Kenny Wax, DEM Productions, Alchemation, Crossroads Live & the Menier Chocolate Factory. Martha worked as Sir Trevor Nunn’s associate for many years, including on Olivier award-winning revival of ‘Fiddler on the Roof’.
In her previous role as an Associate Artist for the Young Shakespeare Company, Martha directed productions of Romeo and Juliet, The Tempest, Twelfth Night and Macbeth and ran educational workshops and residencies for young people across the UK.
She works as a script reader for Sonia Friedman Productions.
