Karl Jackson

Karl Jackson’s breakthrough short film INDEPENDENCE was funded by the BFI NETWORK & Film London. The film premiered at BAFTA qualifying London Film Festival 2023 and has earned him recognition as a Film London Lodestar "Director to watch". INDEPENDENCE is the second instalment to his trilogy on at-risk young people with the third instalment EXCLUDED in development. Karl is currently part of the Dancing Ledge Screenskills Screenwriting Mentorship Scheme, where he is developing a TV series and his debut feature film is in development with Sophie Reynolds at Sona Films. 

Karl is also an actor, represented by Elaine Murphy Associates.
