Guy began his writing career in the theatre before moving into film and television. Over twenty screenplays have been produced, four winning BAFTA awards (No Child of Mine, Omagh, Five Minutes of Heaven, Complicit) and three others nominated (Prime Suspect, May 33rd, The Russian Bride).
He was awarded the Christopher Ewart-Biggs Memorial Prize in 2010 (Northern Ireland peace prize) for Five Minutes of Heaven and has won several awards in the UK for promoting awareness of mental health. His script Eye In The Sky premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and became one of the ‘breakout’ indie film hits at the USA box office in 2017, also winning Best Screenplay at the Evening Standard Film Awards. A United Kingdom premiered at Toronto and opened the London Film Festival in 2017.
He has several scripts in commission and several others currently looking for finance.
