F. Artington's creative journey started in an unusual setting: a school nestled amidst the serene tranquility of a graveyard. Here, amidst the moss-covered stones and whispering trees, young F. Artington first encountered the enchantment of storytelling. At the tender age of seven, he would entertain his classmates with tales of dragons soaring through distant realms. In exchange for halfpennies, he would eagerly rush home to craft more adventures, ensuring his audience remained entertained. However, his idyllic storytelling days came to an unexpected halt when a stern teacher intervened, abruptly ending his narrative ventures. Yet, in the innocence of his seven-year-old mind, he couldn't comprehend that it was not the stories themselves but rather the exchange of coins that drew disapproval.

Unaware of his dyslexia at the time, F. Artington became frustrated with his inability to pen his fantastical tales. Consequently, he stored them in the recesses of his mind, where they lay dormant, awaiting the opportune moment for release. It wasn't until years later, during his university years, that fate intervened. Discovering his dyslexia and receiving a precious gift in the form of a free laptop, he found himself equipped with newfound tools to embark on a journey to reimagine the stories of his youth. The dragon, once confined to the playgrounds of his childhood, now soared across his laptop screen, breathing new life into forgotten dreams.

F.Artington now lives in London with his wife and two children. When he is not writing or drawing, he loves cycling with his children, attempting to beat their record of twelve playgrounds in one day.
