Deborah studied Drama at Manchester University and enjoyed early success as an actor in theatre, television and radio. Over the past decade Deborah's writing career has taken precedence. Her play AN AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY LARK won Best New Play 2014 at both the UK Theatre Awards and Manchester Theatre Awards.
