Ben Weatherill has been nominated for The Times Breakthrough Award at the Sky Arts Awards in the theatre category. The award celebrates people whose careers have exploded in the past year across all arts genres. Ben's smash hit play FRANK AND PERCY, starring Ian McKellen and Roger Allam, took London by storm last year with a sell-out run at The Other Palace. It told the story of two ageing men who begin a love affair after meeting walking their dogs on Hampstead Heath and received some excellent reviews. The success of FRANK AND PERCY followed on from Ben's remarkable play JELLYFISH which went on at the National in 2019 to critical acclaim.
