Sophia adapted Anaïs Nin’s groundbreaking Little Birds into a 2020 Sky miniseries starring Juno Temple, directed by Stacie Passon and produced by Warp Films. The same year she also wrote the voice over for documentary film Sisters With Transistors, which premiered at SXSW. She currently has work in development with World Productions and Dh’Bab Productions.    An interdisciplinary artist, her work has been shown in various international exhibitions, most recently including: Grey Unpleasant Land, Spike Island, Bristol (2024); Not My Bag, Henry Art Gallery, Seattle (2023); Beast Type Song, GARAGE, Moscow (2021); taraxos, Serpentine x Modern Forms Sculpture Commission, London (2021);  and Bitch Omega, Julia Stoschek Collection, Dusseldorf (2020). Sophia’s moving memoir The Girl Who Fell To Earth was published by Harper Perennial in 2012. Her writing has also appeared in publications including Harper's Magazine and Bidoun.   Sophia has recently ventured into more commercial work. She was enlisted by Miuccia Prada to provide visual and creative direction for Miu Miu's S/S 2024 Show, helped write the accompanying short film to Louis Vuitton's Virgil Abloh Fall-Winter 2021 collection and most recently contributed to the writing of a confidential Gucci ad campaign.
