Tim Key, Jonny Sweet and Nick Mohammed all appear in the London run of Tom Basden's Fringe First-winnning play PARTY

After incredible reviews, a Fringe First Award, total sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and Sydney Festival, Tom Basden’s biting and hilarious satire finally comes to London – starring Tim Key, Jonny Sweet and Nick Mohammed along with Anna Crilly, Katy Wix and Tom.

The run will be at the Arts Theatre between the 1st and 13th March: http://www.theinvisibledot.com/1187/

Working out how to change the world can be difficult, but working out why can be almost impossible.

In a humble garden shed in deepest Suburbia, four young idealists have decided to form a new political party to save the world from itself. The new fifth member, Duncan, sets about saving the world from them. Party is a new comic play about small minds tackling big issues – China, sex trafficking, cycle lanes, unfair trade coffee, whether to call the party ‘The Friendly Party’ or ‘Gladios’. And when, exactly, they should break to eat a cake.

“This intimate comedy is hilarious and recommended particularly for those who like political humour but grow tired of the often attendant stuffiness.”

“Basden’s deftly written script injects new life into the hoary old genre of political satire and the excellent quintet deliver it with perfect timing.”
