Olwen Fouere has won the Best Actress Award at this years Irish Theatre Awards in Dublin on the 27th February; for her performance as The Woman in her translation of Laurent Gaudé’s Sodome, My Love, directed by Lynne Parker.
She also appeared in The Rehearsal: Playing the Dane which scooped the Best Production Award. This was Pan Pan Theatre’s deconstruction of Hamlet, directed by Gavin Quinn, in which she appeared as Gertrude.
