David Belton’s documentary THE AMISH airs on PBS on Sunday 6th May, 8.30pm and again on Friday 11th.
The film began life as a story of how the Amish parents of the 2006 Nickel Mines school massacre in Pennsylvania were able to forgive the killer of their children. But it grew – and became a year long project observing the Amish across many parts of the USA.
