Benighted, J B Priestley‘s original haunted house psychodrama and a spine-chilling comedy that inspired The Rocky Horror Show and countless imitators, is brought to the stage for the very first time. Originally published as a novel in 1927, Benighted was brought to the screen by James Whale as the 1932 classic The Old Dark House. It is now presented in a World Premiere stage adaptation by Duncan Gates.
Benighted runs at the Old Red Lion Theatre from 6th December 2016 – 7th January 2017.
