James is one of the most sought-after comedy writers in the country. Originally from Wales, James excels at writing for a variety of different voices and has amassed credits on some of the biggest comedy shows around, writing for the most popular and in-demand comedians in the UK.

As a performer, James has taken 3 sell-out stand up shows to Edinburgh, and has supported the likes of Frankie Boyle, Jimmy Carr and Geoff Norcott on tour. He’s also appeared as a panellist on shows like Big Brother’s Bit On The Side and Animal Antics.

His sitcom script, Sweethearts, won Soho Theatre’s prestigious Comedy Lab competition and was optioned by Zeppotron. Another script, Abernormal, reached the final of BBC’s Find Me Funny competition.

James currently lives in Berkhamsted with his lovely family and annoyingly loud cat.
