Biography

Harriet Chomley is an actor and writer, who will soon be seen in a regular role in the upcoming second series of a BBC One Drama.

She has also recently wrapped on an exciting upcoming feature.

Harriet could also be seen onstage in a leading role in 2:22.

She also recently starred in her own co-written play POSH GIRLS at The Pleasance Theatre and at The Kings Head Theatre – she received lovely write-ups for her performance.

She will soon be seen starring in Jamie Adams’ indie feature – OR SOMETHING LIKE IT opposite Julia Davis, Cobie Smulders, Harry Trevaldwyn and Craig Roberts.

Her debut Camden Fringe show, THE LIONS DEN, received the 5 star reviews and caught the eye of writer-director Jamie Adams, leading to her being cast in the aforementioned feature.

Harriet graduated from Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2020. She went on to star in the first ever National Theatre Wales’ series of interactive live theatre, directed by Justin Cliffe in 2020.

During her time at Royal Welsh, Harriet worked with director Debbie Hannan for the New Season at the Gate Theatre. Sadly the run was cut short after its opening night by COVID. Nevertheless, Harriet later returned to Cardiff in December 2020 to play Beauty/Amiga in Suzan Lori-Parks’ play In the Blood directed by Lekan Lewal at the Sherman Theatre.

Originally from New Zealand and Australia, Harriet ventured to London in 2017 to pursue her studies in acting. Outside of acting, Harriet is writing a show for The Hope Theatre in Islington, and developing a project for television.
