Biography

Victoria Sandøy is an award winning children’s illustrator and author, based in Oslo. She studied illustration in the UK, graduating with a first-class degree from Falmouth University. Since then she has been illustrating numerous picture books, including collaborations with the phenomenal Julia Donaldson.

In 2025, along with author Erna Osland, Victoria won the prestigious Norwegian literature award, Brageprisen, for the book Barnas Verdshistorie.

When not working on books, Victoria enjoys running, cooking and drinking lots and lots of coffee.
