Catherine Dyson, Ben Weatherill & Lucy Phelps Announced As Part Of Orange Tree Theatre's 2025-2026 Writers' Collective Cohort

TheOrange Tree Theatrehas announced the cohort for the 2025-2026 Writers' Collective, which includes our wonderful clients, playwrightsCatherine DysonandBen Weatherilland well asLucy Phelps, whose place is supported in association with the British Centre for Literary Translation (BCLT).


The Orange Tree Writers' Collective brings together a small group of playwrights to spend the year at the Orange Tree to 'share practice, develop new ideas, and become engaged in the work of their theatre throughout the year'.


This announcement follows Ben Weatherill's nomination for The Times Breakthrough Award at the Sky Arts Awards, and the selection of Catherine’s play THE LAST PICTURE as one of the 37 plays for the RSC’s 37 Plays Project.
