Biography
Tracey Larcombe is a highly skilled director with over 15 years of experience, working in the drama, comedy, and documentary space.
A natural storyteller, Tracey’s style is cinematic, intelligent, and engaging. Most recently, she was lead director on the true-crime series CATCH ME A KILLER for ShowMax. The series, based on Micki Pistorious’ best-selling novel stars Charlotte Hope (GAME OF THRONES) and was the first ever South African series to be selected for the International Panorama competition at SeriesMania.
She also recently directed JACK THE RIPPER – WRITTEN IN BLOOD for Sky History, which aired in April 2025. The 3 Episode series was filmed on location in Romania, and stars Moe Dunford, Amy-Leigh Hickman and Mark Strepan.
Previous directing credits include, INNOCENT S2 for ITV, starring Katherine Kelly, Jamie Bamber and Shaun Dooley. SILENT WITNESS, series 23 & 25 and DEATH IN PARADISE S13 both for BBC1, the RTS Award winning drama MOVING ON for LA Productions/BBC1 and the BAFTA award winning CBBC show THE DUMPING GROUND.
As a writer/director, Tracey is developing several of her own projects including FALLING a true-crime series currently co-written with BAFTA winning & Oscar nominated writer Lesley Paterson and iGHOST, a paranom-com feature co-written with David Baddiel.
