Biography

Ting grew up in Beijing and studied in the Netherlands before moving to the UK. She trained at LAMDA and is a sound designer, composer, and theatre maker.

She won the 2023 Stage Debut Award for Best West End Creative Debut for The Crucible (National Theatre/Gielgud Theatre).

A gothic soundscape is full of nerve-jangling rattles and screams (sound design by Tingying Dong, compositions by Matthew Herbert) but it gets more adrenalised, with added club beats, as the violence amps up
