Thomas Hescott

Biography

Thomas is a director and writer with over twenty five years’ experience working across TV, theatre and film.  He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, the National Theatre Studio Directors Course and on the BBC’s Emerging Directors Scheme.
 
He was nominated for a Most Promising Playwright Award for his play The Act, which was subsequently adapted into a short film.  In 2017 he was named on the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist.
 
Thomas is currently part of Directors UK Inspire and is being mentored by film director Tom Harper.
