Tárá Ayeni

Tárá’s talent for dark comedy landed her an additional writer position on the C4/HULU series MAXX. She is currently developing two feature films. Tárá’s is also developing her original series, SYLVIA – in which a trio of mean girls test their karmic fate when they encounter and subsequently terrorize Sylvia, a shy loner whose roots lie deep in African folklore and dark magic – with Fifth Season and Luti Media. She’s incredibly passionate about horror/thriller with an emphasis on modernising narratives with characters from the diaspora but also taking a stand against the female character tropes found within the genres.
