Steve Burge is a versatile comedy writer who most recently co-created and co-wrote television comedy series Still Up, an eight-part series for Apple TV starring Antonia Thomas and Craig Roberts. The series, which focuses on the sweet friendship between two insomniacs, one of whom is agoraphobic, is a sensitive and heart-warming exploration of topics ranging from dating in London to mental health issues. It was released on Apple TV+ in late-September 2023 to strong reviews.
Burge is also known for his work on the BBC’s hit panel show Would I Lie to You, The Ministry of Curious Stuff starring Vic Reeves and the successful Radio 4 series Seekers. Further writing credits include television movie Burge & Way co-written with Tony Way and directed by Ben Wheatley as well as the BBC sketch programmes The Impressions Show with Culshaw and Stephenson and Tittybangbang.
Steve currently is developing projects with VAL-TV and Big Talk.
