Biography

Stuart’s work as a Casting Director can currently be seen on Oh, Mary! (Trafalgar Theatre), Into The Woods (Bridge Theatre), Paranormal Activity (Ambassadors Theatre), Cabaret (Kit Kat Club/Playhouse Theatre) and One Day (Edinburgh Lyceum).

Stuart has won five CDG Awards: in 2025 for Best Casting in Musical Theatre for Fiddler on the Roof, in 2024 for Best Casting in Regional Theatre for Standing at the Sky’s Edge, in 2023 for Best Casting in Musical Theatre for Cabaret and Best Casting in Regional Theatre for East Is East and in 2021 for Best Casting in Theatre for Cyrano de Bergerac. He has been included in The Stage 100 list of the most influential people in British theatre three times.
